I am absoulatey blow away by Bohola. I am a Piano Accordionist and teacher, but I have only devoted myself to traditional Irish music in the past two years. I would love to see you folks put out a book of you stuff. I'm talking about a music notation book.
I am located in New Hampshire and every year we go up to Nova Scotia to Celtic Coloures. That would be a wonderful venue for you. Check out their website.

Heard on a forum that you have some Joe Foley bouzoukis.... just being curious, what type? I have one and I don't know if he makes different types of bouzoukis since he doesn't have a website, but however I'm looking for a suitable case, would you know what I should get (just bought a jumbo guitar gigbag which is fine)? I ordered your bohola CD after seeing you in State College, PA. I love it, and it's bringing me a lot of happiness and peaceful feelings. I'm going to get another one and send it to a musician friend in Ecuador who plays traditional Andean music. I think any musician, which I'm not, will appreciate the beauty and skill of your musicianship. The vocals are so sweet. They have the power to go right to the soul. My heartfelt thanks. My brother lives in Wisconsin and always wants me to come for the Irishfest in Milwaukee. If I ever do, I hope I will see you there.

I was at your State College, PA, concert last night. What a sweet experience! I talked to Pat a bit after the show about his experience moving from his own country to the US and about me being from Milwaukee. I wish I could have talked to you, Jimmy. Maine Celtic Festival Friday night was our first bohola experience. You two were punch drunk with fatigue (and as a result, very funny) but the music was absolutely amazing. Jimmy's fingers fairly flew, and Pat's vocals were terrific. Robin No More went straight to my heart. We went back for more on Sunday. Thanks for coming to our wee part of the world.

When I lived in chitown I bought your album because it had the name of the town my great grandmother was from. After the first listen I knew this was going to be one of the best albums I would own. It some how reminds me of all the stories, desires etc., told by relations that took the road of the immigrant.

Saw you last week at Gaelic Park and you guys are so much better with the new lineup (although I liked you with the fiddle player too). The new tunes and songs you played sound great (even with that bad sound system they had at the festival.) I look forward to seeing and hearing more!
